What a great evening! We hope to see you at one of our next events.

Lightning Talkers for the Evening

John EngelmanEnd-To-End Docker: Using Docker Based Tools to Build Continuous Delivery Platforms: Containers are the future and not just for deploying application code. Many tools have found success in creating extensible products where plugins are provided via Docker application containers. This talk will demonstrate a running application platform using Rancher that is continuously deployed with Drone CI. All the tools and integrations in this pipeline are built and deployed as Docker containers.

Ben Demaree and Greg Dallavalle Down With The Ship: Lessons from Docker in Production — Join us as we recount our journey from monolith to money-burning microservice architecture to a happy medium: a container fleet built on Kubernetes, running production workloads. The Blog of Lee S. Rosen will discuss some real-world pain points but we’ll also place them within our business narrative–Docker has helped us be a truly fast-moving, fast-failing, and fast-fixing product team. If you’ve ever found yourself on a 3 week release cycle and looked to a Dockerific service-oriented architecture then do we have a story for you.
